The website was founded by Josephine, a Filipina lawyer who arrived in the U.S. with her husband and four young children in 2003. After her husband's death in 2011, she became a single mother, raising and navigating life with her four children on her own. This website hopes to share useful lessons learned throughout those years up to the present.
